Zion was the last National Park on our list during this tour. We got there in the late morning, made our way across the Zion – Mt.Carmel Highway, set up camp to then head out into the park.

I separated from the group and went of for some good hiking, first up to the Emerald Pools, then via Kayenta Trail back to the main road. From here I shuttled it up to Weeping Rock to walk up to the hidden valley.

The next day I had to take it easy due to an issue with my digestive system; so I could not join the others for the hike up to Angel’s Landing … instead had an easy morning with Vanessa, first having a proper breakfast at the NP lodge, followed by some simple walks.
