We left Turtle Island NP this morning by boat and made it back into Sandakan. Here we moved on to taxis for the one hour ride to Sepilok, home of the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Center.

We got there basically in time for the morning feeding. Most of us stayed around the center for lunch to get a good spot for the afternoon feeding as well.

After the afternoon feeding at the center we were back to the taxis again, heading over to Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary to see these special monkeys – endemic to Borneo.

For dinner most of us joined in for the big barbecue with loads of meat, excellent tuna and the first piece of potato for weeks.
