We had a full day in Puerto Varas; it was again James, Lisa and myself who joined up and hopped on a local bus to get on a hike in the Osorno Volcano park. The hike started promising in relatively good weather. However it changed during the hike and we ended getting drenched to the underwear.

After a fairly wet picnic we started to head back to the start point; here we had to wait another 45 minutes for a bus to pick us up and to get back to Puerto Varas.

It was interesting to watch the locals putting up stalls to sell Alfajores even here in the rain in the middle of nowhere … another funny bit was to see the bus driver cleaning his bus right before we and some school children entered and made it dirty again.
