This afternoon I joined a group tour to visit some valleys around town.

Our first stop was at a massive sand dune in the Death Valley (not to be confused with the one in the US). We started at a viewpoint on top to take in the vistas – to then walk down on the sand – with our bus waiting for us at the bottom.

From the Death Valley we continued to the Moon Valley. After a short walk, we made ourselves comfortable on a mountain ridge to see the sun set over the valley – or better to watch the valley while the sun was setting, to take in the ever-changing colours and shadows.
