I did not have breakfast on Sunday; only made it up after 11:00; I met up with Sanjiev and we walked all the way through Hankou to the Temple of the Dragon King; from there we continued over to Hanyang to visit Qingchuan Pavillion.
Those we read my blog on a regular basis, have probably seen the photos of Wuhan and its skyline, I posted earlier – many of which show the town’s TV tower – which we made our second goal for this Sunday – to get final conclusion about the TV tower and its status (and – that was our hope – to get up and a view).
As it finally turned out, the TV tower is not accessible for the public (means you cannot get inside … at least not the Sunday we tried); so all I can add as view is the photo taken from the foot of the tower below.
As we did not want to close the weekend without having been on a tower, we decided to have dinner in the revolving restaurant of the Howard Johnson hotel in town – a Thai influenced revolving restaurant on the 41st floor with some nice views and even better food – or the perfect finish for Lya’s birthday 😉
