We continued South from Yellowstone – straight into Grand Teton NP. Under normal circumstances we would have been greeted by the Grand Tetons staight away – however due to a nearby wildfire the whole area was covered in smoke and its faint outline was the only thing we could actually see from the Tetons.
A ranger-led talk gave us a good overview of flora and fauna of the Tetons, their different habitats and survival techniques. We also – once more – did work towards becoming Junior Rangers and all made it for our badges.
