Today was the last day of the trip – and it was cold and rainy (basically a preparation what was waiting for us in Germany a day later).

In the morning we had a short tour of the main sights in Panfilov Park, including the cathedral, the war monument and the somewhat defunct museum of Kazakh musical instruments. From here we got on the bus and given a quick city tour – before we made it up to the Medeu ice rink – here at 1700 meters above sealevel it was snowing. As the options were somewhat limited we ended up in a tourist yurt for soup, tea and vodka.

In the afternoon we were on ourselves, I made it for the nearby market and had another visit of the park to see the cathedral without the rain.
