This year’s November destination was Cuba – picked as I wanted to see the country in its current state – before the US embargo being lifted.

I made it into Havana on a Saturday evening coming in via Toronto. I had the Sunday on myself before meeting up with a tour group Sunday evening.

I spent the day – I guess, I have to say – in the usual way: exploring town. I left the  hotel and made it by foot along the malecón to Havana’s old town. Here I roughly followed the Lonely Planet walking tour – with some ‘deviations’ of course … photographic evidence below:
