We left Baracoa heading towards El Yunque (the table mountain shown on one of the photos from yesterday) – however without the intention to get up the mountain; we rather had a simple waterfall hike in mind.

The hike started easy … walking on roads with some minor streams to cross (strap sandals rock here) … this changed when we made it down to the big river … changing to a small trail and finally a great river crossing – with us actually swimming through the river to the other side. Overall an amazing little hike with loads of fun.
