I spent this weekend in Middle Rhine Valley with a couple of friends.

Purpose of the visit was to go for a hike from Kaub to St.Goarshausen along what is probably the most dramatic landscape along the middle portion of the Rhine river. The hike had an overall 22kms with some good ups and downs – but also great, rewarding views. I have posted some photos below …

On Sunday we were lazy and did the trip again – just on a boat this time – with some nice impressions from the waterline; I have posted those as well – there is some good comparisons in here. – – – Nevertheless, the hike is surely the more rewarding approach 😉
