Today we used Bansko as a base for a trip into the Pirin Mountains. A 45 minute drive got us to the station of a chairlift … from here it was half an hour up the mountain – before making it to the top station.

We now had a couple of hours, which we used for an extended walk further up to get in some of the great views and enjoy the nice weather … overall a very enjoyable day.
