As today was one of our more active days, we did stay fairly local today and only covered an overall distance of 40km (add in another 30km for local transport to/from sites).

After leaving Langar we made it to Vrang (about 35km), here we had another stop, to see the Buddhist Stupa (more detail in the next entry). After that we made it to Ptup, where we headed straight to our homestay for lunch.

On the way from Langar to Ptup we were now following the road going parallel to the  Panj River – getting in more great views of this (despite the altitude of above 2500m) fertile valley.
