We had one full day and two nights in Camagüey … and the oddest accommodation on the trip – a one star hotel.

We got an introduction to town during a walking tour of town in the morning; the afternoon saw us heading for the stadium to watch a baseball game (or at least part of it) – the number one sport in Cuba – and see the local team getting a beating by the visiting team from Holguin.

Surely the evenings involved the usual mojitos (rooftop bars of posh hotels rock indeed – this time the one of the Gran Hotel) and musical and dancing performances.
