Today was our complete day in Monteverde; most of us decided to go for a canopy tour in the morning, thus spending the morning flying through and over the jungle’s canopy.
As one can imagine this is a slightly wet experience, so I decided to not take my camera – therefore no pictures of our flys or tarzan jumps here.
In the afternoon we moved over to the National Park and had a walk around with a guide, looking for animals and getting some background on the cloud forest ecosystem.
Our guide – Jorge – was providing good explainations, cool stories and his eyes constantly seeking for the animals, Monteverde is famous for – from quetzales to hummingbirds.
