From Cowboy Camp we drove to the Grand Canyon. We arrived at our campground some time in the afternoon, enough time left for a plane flight over the canyon – then dinner and into the park to see the sun set over the canyon.
The next day was hiking day – the group split up, I joined the group that did the Plateau Point hike (in 6.5 hours, described as very strenous and as taking 8-10 hours).
