We now had a two day trip on a rice barge ahead of us.

We boarded the rice barge in the early afternoon of the 12th and left Ayutthaya by boat – slowly moving down (or even up?) the river, watching the scenery pass by, reading a book – or simply relaxing.

We had a number of stops on the way – the first included the option for short bike ride to an elephant sanctuary.

In the morning of the 13th another bike ride was offered, this time stopping at a knife factory, a cocos milk producer, a mushroom farm and (yet another) school – where we again went into an English class.
