After having been working with our development team in Minsk for years, Pilar (a colleague from Spain) and myself thought that it is about time to finally meet the team in person. With help of Svetlana – our local team leader – we finally got our trip organized; Maria and Norman (two further colleagues) also decided to join in.

Pilar, Maria and myself made it into Minsk very late on the 18th of May. We got picked up by Svetlana and Vitaly at the airport and were brought to our hotel.

The next morning we met again in the office. While the trip was organized on a private level (means not funded by the company), we still had decided to use the first two days as office days – with plenty of meetings and opportunities for direct discussions with the team – and of course the opportunity to meet the team in person. While we were busy most of the time, there was still some time to have a look around the city center (easy with the office being right in the center).
