Walk around Ubud

The tour fully started with a group meeting this morning.

From the group meeting we went straight for the first activity: by van we were brought to a village outside of Ubud; from there we enjoyed a walking tour of about three hours back to Ubud. During the walking tour we had plenty of opportunity to see the local life.

We stopped multiple times to see the works of local artists; the most memorable bit was probably a special landscape painting at the first spot … and the new piece of wisdom that prices have a tendency to drop (dramatically) if you are unable to make up your mind. Next to art also fresh coconut juice (as well as other juices) were on offer – accompanied by fabulous views.

In the afternoon – while the rest of the group was either white water rafting or undergoing spa treatment – I went to visit Ubud’s monkey forest and temple.
