Today we had perfect weather – sunshine and blue skies – an ideal day for a good hike up Ben Lomond.

As I had the ticket for the cable car, I cheated for the first bit and just made the first bit by cable car. From the cable car station I followed a path through the forest and then open field up to the saddle between two mountains – one of which being Ben Lomond. I continued up the mountain and made it to the top for an early lunch.
