Ferg Burger & Pub Crawl

Does it sound like a good idea to go for a pub crawl after a wine tour?

I would say it does … 😉

We had some rest after we made it back from the wine tour, then met up with the others to go for one of Queenstown’s famous Ferg Burgers. After that we started with a bar on ourselves (no drinking for me yet … I had tiramisu) before actually heading to the starting bar of the pub crawl – with a welcome drink of butter scotch mixed with Jägermeister (you must be addicted to actually enjoy that mix …).

From here we continued to the ice bar, a bar in refrigerator with walls, furniture and glasses made from ice. As odd as the idea sounds, the place is actually quiet interesting and drinking out of a glass made from ice definitely has its advantages. Of course a warm overcoat and gloves were provided (and I carry my beanie most of the times anyhow) … as was a fish to be licked – or not to be licked.

We continued to the next bar – after which we ended up in the World Bar again. Here most of us finally left (around half past midnight) … only two of us continued for more drinks, fun and a funny way home (at least based on the stories …).
