Over the past couple of days I had somewhat ignored Cape Town’s major landmark – Table Mountain … today I put myself on a one of these hop-on/off city tours and did a tour around town, checking the main landmarks and getting up to table mountain.

Table Mountain was at its best – with a big cloud coming over the mountain, a bit like a waterfall. I took the cable car to get on top of the mountain and had a walk around there – to soon end up in the cloud – an amazing experience. I indeed consider myself lucky – when I made it back to the cable car station for the way down, I had to realize that uphill traffic had been stopped.

From table mountain I continued to the beaches and then ended up in the city center for walk around the center and Company Gardens.
