It was back in August, when I counted my remaining vacation days for the year – and did figure out, that – due to all those public holidays around Christmas and New Year – I would have more than 2.5 weeks – so, I thought, why not go for another trip!? So – I started to look into options and decided for a ten day trip to Morocco.
So here I was finally … I left Germany on the 28th, made it to Marrakesh and joined yet another Intrepid tour. I made it just in time for the introductory meeting and a first group dinner.
It was then the morning of the 29th, when we left Marrakesh and made our way into the Atlas mountains. The van was destined for little town Imlil; we left our main luggage here and started the 1.5 hours walk up to Aroumd – an even smaller village – where a gite (kind of Moroccan mountain hut) and lunch was waiting for us.
