This was my last full day in Morocco and Marrakesh; some of us (i.e. of those who had not already left the country) decided to go on a half day guided tour around the Medina, taking in El Bahia palace, the Saadian Tombs and – had the tour been less rushied – plenty of shopping opportunities.

The tour ended around the Djemma El-Fna square – in time for a pre-lunch mint tea, followed by yet another tajine.
