We were on the move again, this time using the ice bus (I was literally cold to the bone, when we got of the bus) – heading into the direction of Jaipur; however we got of a bit before – to change into jeeps and continue into rural Rajasthan and the village of Bassi.

In Bassi we stayed in an old fort, that’s been recently converted to a hotel. Rooms were cozy and furnished fittingly – to make this a proper heritage stay.
