The second part of the tour had started – with a new area (up North), a new tour leader and some new faces in the group.

We spent this Monday with a tour through old Delhi, starting in a misty morning with a visit at the Jama Masjid or Friday Mosque. From here we went straight into the little alleys of the nearby bazaar.

We got out of the bazaar maze close to the Sikh temple, where we not only got an introduction to Sikhism – but also a tour around the temple and the communal facilities.

From here we continued – by bicycle taxi – into the hustle and bustle of the spice market.

For the afternoon we decided to give us  bit of an upgrade and indulge on High Tea in the Imperial Hotel 😉
