In the early afternoon we left for the next activity: a hike up Pacaya Volcano, an active volcano roughly two hours from Antigua.

After a two hours uphill hike, we reached the lava field .. and soon wandered through solidified lava up to where it was still red glowing and (slowly) flowing.
