Bangkok Landmarks

We arrived back in Bangkok this morning. After a taxi ride to the hotel, a big breakfast and a quick shower, I had some things to organize – an important one being laundry and more important: getting re-booked on another flight. I ended up getting an extra day in Bangkok.

During my last stays in Bangkok I always had seen Wat Arun from the river – I always had wanted to actually go there, but never actually made it – now was the time.

After my visit to Wat Arun I crossed back over the river and found myself in the area around Wat Po – home of the Reclining Buddha. I had been here before – but wanted to see the Buddha again and feel the magic of this place.

Next I went on the Express Boat to get down to Central Pier to change to the Skytrain and get to Lumphini Park, an area I never visited before. I got back to Banglumpu in the late afternoon to meet up with (what was left from) the group for a final group dinner.
