We had a quick transfer from the tea garden to the train station to take the Nilgiri Mountain railway back to Ooty.
The railway was originally built during British reign back in 1908 connecting Coimbatore with Ooty, which it continues to do today. Back in 2005 the Nilgiri Mountain Railway had been added to the UNESCO world heritage list as one of the three Mountain Railways of India.
We got on the train at its (about) half-way point in Coonoor to make the missing 18 kms to Ooty by toy train.
