Today our time in Cambodia had come to an end; we left Cambodia – first by boat to the border, then over to Thailand and to Trat by minibus.
After a long day of (uncomfortable, sweaty) travel we made it into Trat – and did use the opportunity to try the local night market for dinner.

We made it into Phnom Penh in the early afternoon. After lunch the group separated. I started for a big walk down to the Tonle Sap River/ Mekong to get a first impression of the Royal Palace.
Today we were hitting the road once more (by bus this time) – following the National Road 6 heading all the way to Phnom Penh.
